Capnographs
Capnographs
A capnograph is a medical device that monitors the condition of a patient’s respiratory system, thereby helping healthcare professionals to respond more quickly to breathing difficulties. It measures the amount of carbon dioxide (CO₂) in exhaled air and displays the data as real-time graphs. These graphs give experienced doctors a detailed picture of the patient’s condition and the effectiveness of their breathing over a specific period of time. A capnograph is also known as an EtCO2 monitor.
