Reagents for haematology analysers
Reagents for haematology analysers are functionally divided into the following groups:
- Solvents: ensure correct dilution of the sample and stable measurement conditions;
- Lysis reagents: used to prepare the sample for measurement (in particular for haemoglobin determination and white blood cell differentiation in the relevant systems);
- Flushing and cleaning solutions: keep the hydraulic system clean, reduce the risk of deposits and blockages, and help maintain consistent performance across production runs;
- Control blood: used for daily/periodic internal quality control (QC), whilst calibrators are used to calibrate and verify the accuracy of measurements, particularly following servicing or the replacement of components.
Cormay’s versatile range for open systems
Cormay offers standard reagents for haematology: solvents, lysis reagents and service solutions for rinsing/cleaning, as well as control materials (control blood). Cormay’s universal solutions are designed for use with the Mindray BC-3000 Plus, Sysmex KX-21 / KX-21N and Horiba ABX Micros 60 / Micros ES 60 analysers (and compatible models).
Reagents, controls and calibrators for Diatron haematology analysers
Consumables are available for Diatron’s closed haematology systems in the Abacus, Aquila and Aquarius ranges: solvents, lysis, wash and cleaning solutions, as well as control blood and calibrators for 3-diff and 5-diff configurations (depending on the model).
Reagents, controls and calibrators for Orphée’s Mythic haematology analysers
Solvent, lysis, wash and cleaning solutions are available for Orphée, as well as control materials and calibrators for the MYTHIC 60 and MYTHIC 70. For the MYTHIC 3CRP, consumables for CRP determination are also available, including controls and calibrators.
