Description

A pressure ulcer prevention mattress consists of a mattress and an air pump (compressor). The mattress itself consists of two or three sets of split airbags that connect two or three sets of air circuits in the air pump.
The physics of an anti-decubitus mattress is that the regular supply and release of air creates continuous circular waves, which causes the patient's muscle tissue to frequently change the pressed part, effectively preventing pressure ulcers.
