A medical bed with a turning function, a head washbasin and a toilet. The bed is designed for the care of bedridden patients in healthcare facilities and at home, as well as for rehabilitation.
Bed adjustment:
- Angle of the back section: 0 – 75⁰
- Angle of the leg section: – 55 / 55⁰
- Angle of the bed base: to the left and to the right: 0–55⁰
Electric drive The E20 functional medical bed allows for the simplest and most comfortable adjustment of the patient’s position.
Bed design.
The structure is made entirely of steel. It has a powder-coated finish that is resistant to disinfectants. It can support a load of 250 kg.
The bed frame is made of steel. It has a powder-coated finish that is resistant to disinfectants. The bed rails are removable and made from ABS plastic. The metal side rails are foldable and feature locking mechanisms.
Cardio chair. The foot of the bed can be lowered, allowing the bed to be adjusted to this position, which is used in the effective treatment of various cardiac and other conditions. Furthermore, it ensures the most comfortable position whilst the patient is awake, eating or using the toilet.
Flip function. It enables the sides of the bed to be raised and a heavy patient to be turned carefully, in order to prevent circulatory problems and the development of pressure sores in a paralysed patient.
Adjustment of the angle of the leg section. It helps improve blood circulation in the legs, prevents varicose veins and makes daily care easy.
Bathroom fittings. It consists of a rectangular container (215 × 250 mm) mounted on a retractable platform; the unit is operated by an electric motor via a remote control and is securely covered by a lid and a soft mattress pad.
Hair-washing device. It is a special tray that is placed in a recess specifically cut into the mattress at the head of the bed.
Mattress
The core of the mattress is made from coconut coir – a material consisting of fibres from the coconut palm. It is impregnated with natural latex; it is durable, eco-friendly, resilient, firm and non-hygroscopic. As a result, it will not become musty or absorb unwanted odours.
The polyurethane foam layer can withstand heavy loads. As it contains no allergenic components, it is widely sought after by people with allergies.
A cover made from a special medical-grade breathable fabric that can be treated with disinfectants. It fastens with a zip.
