It is important to note that the human eye can only see radiation waves in the range from 380 to 750 nm (visible light), so not all types of radiation are visible to us.

The lamps used in infrared therapy differ in power and wavelength. This therapeutic method uses coloured light filters that change the parameters of the light source and alter its effect on the body.

• IR-C (3000nm-1mm) - infrared radiation with the longest wavelengths and moderate thermal effect (penetrates the epidermis)
