Description
PhysioGo.Lite Laser is the newest low-level laser therapy device in ASTAR's offer. Its unique design and safety concepts ensure patient safety during therapy. The compact size of the laser makes it an ideal device for physiotherapy centres and for home environmental therapy.
Benefits for the patient
Laser applicators - great therapeutic possibilities
Clinical studies and many years of experience in the use of laser therapy have demonstrated the effectiveness of this therapy for the appropriate wavelengths. The so-called "therapeutic window" has been defined. This is the wavelength range from 650 nm to 1200 nm. The PhysioGo.Lite laser, thanks to its cooperation with all applicators available in the ASTAR offer: point probes, scanning laser applicator, cluster laser applicator, stimulates tissues with a wavelength of 660 nm (R) - superficial effect and 808 nm (IR) therapy for deep tissues. In addition to the wavelength, the power of the applicator is also an important parameter. The therapist working with the PhysioGo.Lite laser in combination with the CL-1800 (cluster laser applicator) has a power of up to 1800 mW.
In addition, the use of the scanning laser applicator makes it possible to treat large surfaces with simultaneous use of radio and infrared radiation. Three different laser sources can be connected to the PhysioGo.Lite Laser, which are available from ASTAR.
Safety first - a self-check procedure
The device software allows you to perform a self-test every time you switch it on. This is an ongoing monitoring of the device's performance, which makes the PhysioGo.Lite Laser a safe tool in the hands of the physiotherapist. After the self-test is complete, the display shows information on the readiness of the accessories connected to the device. The device automatically checks the laser power before starting treatment procedures. In addition, the user can measure the power of the point sensor at any time, which is an additional functional advantage.
Medical devices require a periodic annual inspection. To meet these requirements, PhysioGo.Lite Laser allows you to save the date of the next inspection for your device. When the date has passed, the device will automatically remind the user to carry out the required inspection. Like all ASTAR products, the device complies with the requirements of the Medical Device Directive.
Benefits for the therapist
Home treatment
In healthcare facilities that provide services to patients with limited mobility or at home, the PhysioGo. Lite Laser will work perfectly thanks to its size, light weight and special PRO bag that contains the device and accessories. In addition, it is possible to extend the functionality of the device with a rechargeable battery module. This allows the device to operate for up to 4 hours without being connected to a power source.
Modern and ergonomic
The PhysioGo.Lite Laser is equipped with a 5-inch colour display and touch panel. The laser can be operated in manual or software mode. Innovative changes in the software make the device's operation very intuitive. Moreover, the device automatically calculates the duration of treatment depending on: power, dose, frequency and area of the therapeutic field. At any time, the user can check the statistics of the procedures performed and the operating time of individual laser sources of low laser therapy.
Standby mode
The PhysioGo.Lite Laser is equipped with a rechargeable battery module and has the ability to enable battery saving mode. After selecting the appropriate option in the service menu, the device will enter the STANDBY mode after a specified period of laser inactivity.
Special mode for optical fibre applicators
In the case of point probes, the use of fibre-optic applicators significantly increases the therapeutic capabilities of the device. PhysioGo.Lite Laser has a special mode implemented in the device software that guarantees the accuracy of the parameters during therapy. Thanks to this, the device can be successfully used for laser puncture or laser therapy in ENT.
Medical encyclopedia - defined therapeutic procedures
There are 175 built-in treatment programmes, illustrated by a treatment encyclopedia, to optimally adapt the parameters of low-level laser therapy to the diseases of the patients being treated. The therapist can select a specific therapy from the device's memory by entering the name of the relevant disease or by dividing it into areas such as orthopaedics, sports medicine, aesthetic medicine, rheumatology, neurology, dermatology and angiology. The user can create and store up to 200 custom treatment programmes in the PhysioGo.Lite Laser unit's memory. The device also has predefined laser programmes - 8 Nogier acupuncture programmes and 30 Foll acupuncture programmes.
