HCO-01 Anti-bedsore Rehabilitation System
Intended use and application:
The Heaco HCO-01 is a dynamic, sectional medical system designed for the professional prevention of stage 1–3 pressure ulcers, for use in the comprehensive treatment of pressure ulcers and during the rehabilitation process.
It is used both in hospital wards and at home.
It is fitted with a powerful automatic compressor featuring a digital display and a built-in anti-vibration system, which reduces operating noise levels.
As the mattress sections are separate chambers connected by a tube, each section can be easily replaced (1 spare section included).
Who is it for:
- This product is indispensable for patients with severe mobility limitations (spinal injuries, pelvic fractures, paralysis, and rehabilitation following strokes),
- Patients with severe heart or respiratory failure, terminal conditions, or cachexia.
- Elderly patients who are unable to change their position independently to prevent the development of pressure sores.
- Immobilised patients, to prevent the development of pressure sores.
- For patients with diabetes mellitus or tissue ischaemia.
How it works:
The system is based on variable pressure technology: every 10 minutes, the compressor alternately inflates and deflates 22 separate air chambers, without applying excessive pressure to any affected area.
Functional benefits:
Static mode (Static pressure):
allows all sections to be filled simultaneously to create a stable, even surface. This is necessary to facilitate medical procedures, dressing changes or feeding the patient (activated by turning the control knob anti-clockwise). It is important not to use sections with micro-perforations.
CPR function (Emergency Deflation):
The presence of a special valve allows the air to be released from the mattress instantly should cardiopulmonary resuscitation need to be carried out on a firm surface.
Micro-perforation system:
Some sections have special openings for passive ventilation. This helps maintain a healthy microclimate, reduces skin moisture and prevents nappy rash. They are used as required, replacing the standard sections.
Professional resilience:
Thanks to its thickened medical-grade PVC and a powerful yet quiet compressor, the system can support patients weighing up to 200 kg.
The system is certified in Ukraine and comes with an official 12-month warranty.
